The sub forum of “lean manufacturing based on 5g + industrial Internet”, the key technology and innovation section of 2021 world Intelligent Manufacturing Conference, was held in Nanjing on the 9th. Experts and industry insiders believed that lean digitization has accelerated the pace of enterprise intelligent transformation and is expected to become one of the new directions of intelligent manufacturing development in the future.
The development of intelligent manufacturing is related to the future pattern of global manufacturing industry. It plays an important role in consolidating the foundation of the real economy, building a modern industrial system and realizing emerging industrialization. Ye Meng, director of intelligent manufacturing division of the first equipment industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said in his speech that lean production is one of the most important management concepts and management methods in the manufacturing industry, represents advanced production organization and production mode, and is the key premise and foundation for the development of intelligent manufacturing.
Wang Hongyan, founder of China Manufacturing International Forum and chairman of Aiborui group, believes that lean ideas and methodologies can enable traditional enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency in stock and expand the market in increment, while digital technology can solidify and standardize lean achievements in time, and Jingyi digitization will accelerate the intelligent transformation of enterprises.
Wuhu Xinxing Cast Pipe Co., Ltd. started lean digital transformation in September 2020 and loaded the digital practice package of anomaly management on the original production line. In just three months, it achieved the goal of significantly reducing the overall anomaly response time and greatly improving the management efficiency. Shan Zhongde, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, said that through this case, it can be found that the purpose and concept of lean manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing are consistent. To grasp the opportunities of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform, seize the commanding heights of future competition and deepen the supply side structural reform, there is an urgent need to organically integrate lean manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing and promote it systematically.
Li bacon, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and chairman of the national intelligent manufacturing expert committee, believes that lean digitization has become a new direction for the development of intelligent manufacturing and will provide strong support for the low-carbon development of China’s manufacturing industry.
During the forum, the white paper on lean digitization of China’s manufacturing industry was launched. The white paper was prepared by China Institute of electronic technology standardization in cooperation with Tianjin Aiborui Technology Development Co., Ltd. Han Li, director of the Application Technology Research Office of the Internet of things research center of China Institute of electronic technology standardization, said that lean digitization will play an increasingly important role on the road from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. The white paper aims to present more digital practice cases and achievements of manufacturing enterprises and witness the growth of China’s manufacturing industry.
